COURSE:

Intro to Unidata

 

DESCRIPTION:

This course is designed for clients who desire to add functionality to their MANAGE 2000™ systems. It is for MIS personnel, system administrators, and programmers who want to extend their knowledge about their ROI environment.

The goal of the course is to help students learn the Unidata environment, commands, and syntax. Students will learn how to get around in the Unidata environment. How to troubleshoot Unidata related ROI problems.

This course is NOT designed to:

  • Teach MANAGE 2000™ Toolsets
  • Train personnel in the setup or use of hardware peripherals (i.e. Printers, etc.)
  • Teach the student basic MANAGE 2000™ module training

 

OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Learn Unidata level editors AE, EDX, and EDP
  • Know basic Unidata commands
  • Understanding DIRECTORY, HASH, and DYNAMIC file types
  • Create and use Indexes
  • Beginning UniQuery commands
  • Use Select List for processing
